Targets 2.0

You can now translate uncovered opportunities to action by setting measurable targets with the improved Targets feature. Set targets for each metric within Waydev and improve your teams' effectiveness, visualizing each target's progress in graphs.
To keep track of targets, you need to use the Graph widget type in your Dashboard. Increase performance by setting targets for every category of metrics: Culture, Activity, and Efficiency.

Calendar Activity

Connect your team's calendar to view and optimize their maker time and keep meeting load under control.

Maker Time is the percentage of uninterrupted two-hour blocks of time when an engineer can focus on coding.

Friction Time represents the blocks of time in between meetings that are less than 2 hours long - not enough for an engineer to get back into the flow.

Custom Dashboards

You can now build and customize your dashboard to have the most tailored view of your team's performance.

Choose from the different views and select any metric you want on your dashboard.

You can move the widgets around and design the dashboard to match your priorities.

After you save the report, you can set it as your Dashboard by switching the toggle on.

Benchmarking

Benchmark your team performance against the entire organization. Set improvement goals by leveraging industry benchmarks researched across 10,000+ engineering teams.

Hover over the tooltip for each metric in your Dashboard to view your organization and industry benchmarks for the last quarter (April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022).

Team Average benchmarks are calculated across all teams in your organization.

Industry Average benchmarks are researched across 10,000+ engineering teams.

Metrics that indicate total values are adjusted to the period selected. Waydev detects and removes outliers from benchmarks.

DORA Metrics 2.0 & Cycle Time 2.0

You can now measure software delivery efficiency more effectively with the new DORA Metrics and Cycle Time. View a breakdown of your team's Pull Requests and zoom into any Pull Request. If you expand the Pull Request, you will find more data about it, such as commits, deploys, issues, and reviews associated with the PR, as well as the Lead Time of the Pull Request. You can also select the option of ignoring the PR so that it won't impact the Cycle Time and DORA Metrics.

New Notifications Feature

You can now create custom notifications from scratch or use one of our templates. You can choose from one of our template conditions or create a new one from more than 70 metrics and receive notifications via Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Chat. You can get notified when someone works on weekends, a PR fails, a PR was approved but not merged, or the Cycle Time exceeds 12 hours. You can also choose who to notify and on what platform (Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Chat).
