Waydev V2: AI Code to Production, Token Usage, Checkpoints, and Waydev MCP
New platform can be accessed here: https://ai.waydev.co/login
AI Code to Production
Track AI-generated code across the delivery pipeline: accepted in IDE → committed → merged → deployed. View acceptance rate, merge rate, and deployment rate by tool, team, repository, and time period.
AI Token Usage
Measure token consumption across Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and Windsurf. Analyze usage by organization, team, and developer, including cost per tool and cost per PR.
AI Checkpoints
Get commit-level attribution for AI-assisted work. Each checkpoint captures the AI agent used, tokens consumed, and the percentage of AI-generated versus human-edited code.
AI ROI
Connect AI usage to delivery outcomes. Measure cost per PR, cost per shipped line, and tokens consumed versus code shipped.
Waydev Agent
Ask questions about your engineering data and get actionable answers. The agent supports trend analysis, forecasting, and recommendations for improving AI adoption and delivery performance.
Waydev MCP
Connect Waydev engineering intelligence to MCP-compatible clients. Supported clients include Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, VS Code, Windsurf, and other MCP clients.
Waydev Agent Skills
Customize the Waydev Agent with SKILL.md. Built-in skills include Executive Mode, Developer Experience Auditor, Resource Allocation, Token Optimization, Concise Mode, and Caveman.

Important Update: Change in Metric Name
We’ve updated the metric previously known as "Cycle Time" to "Lead Time for Changes" to better reflect its purpose and provide more clarity. This change ensures that the metric aligns with industry standards and offers a more accurate understanding of the process.
Thank you for your continued trust and support!
New: Track Progress Sprint by Sprint
We’re excited to introduce Sprint filtering in Waydev. You can now filter any report by sprint, aligning insights with your team’s sprint cadence. This gives you a clearer view of progress, trends, and performance—broken down sprint by sprint—so you can better assess how initiatives are moving, To configure this, set your sprint duration (e.g., two weeks) and the start date of your last sprint.
Customize Insights with More Metrics
You can now customize the Team & Contributors Insights reports with any Waydev metric—giving you the control to focus on what drives performance across your engineering organization.
This report allows you to benchmark team delivery and health, with the added flexibility to select the metrics that align with your goals—offering a more complete view of your teams’ activity and performance. Whether you're tracking trends, identifying areas for improvement, or benchmarking team performance, this update helps you make more informed, data-driven decisions at scale.
